How to Reserve a Kid
1). Refer to breeding plan & prices
2). Contact us AND
- Tell us the sex, the number of goats & breed you’d like
- Do you want your goat(s) registered & disbudded?
- Time frame (must be longer than 1 month in kidding season)
3) Leave retainer for each goat to hold your spot
Retainer/Price
- General price under each breed
- Retainers (NON REFUNDABLE) to hold kid usually $50 down on PayPal/Zelle, check (7 days in advance), or in person.
Terms
Refundable upon (sex) kid not available when born. Royal Caliber Ranch LLC has right to first selection/can retain any kid born.
Abandoned sale constitutes as a buyer not responding to any contact made by or to RCR, seller, for more than 24 hours within the pick up time frame and ignores agreed pick up date or time. Retainer will not be returned in this case.
Pick Up
- Kids must be picked on a date specified by us- usually a 5-7 day free hold is given
- We can postpone pickup until weaned but add a board fee and require purchase in full of animal.
- Board is $20 per week and prorated.
- Hold times follow as T&C: fee applies after 7 day hold to compensate room/board
- Animals with NO a retainer are not guaranteed with a soft verbal hold
- Abandoned sales refused any or all returns.
FYI
- We offer NO refunds!
- Disbudding: you can request NO disbudding done on your kid but MUST pick up ASAP (3-7 days old) and if we hold, must pay for kid IN FULL (NON REFUNDABLE RETAINER APPLIES)
- Disbudded kids; Select kids are disbudded before departure (unless under the age of 7 days for does, 4 days for bucks), kids will be ready to go a few days after their procedure (4-5 days)
- Kids drink WHOLE COWS milk or goat milk at time of pick up and on bottle
- Kids have had colostrum
- Dams receive CDT vaccination 30 days before expected freshening
- Kids start daily coccidiosis prevention from age of 2 days
